• Kinda un-needed now and the shifter specs/occ are no longer valid. it is a nice refrence but there is little new here and little converted that you probaly dont already have else where. Id skip it inless your going for the set. It was great when it was new sadly Palladium books is basicly cut and pasting, not alot of info on what these horrors are doing on rifts earth or even their home diminsions.
• A much needed Monster manual. Focusing on Demons, devils, undead and Lovecraftian horrors, so all the bad stuff. Feels very Diablo 2 themewise.

• Although this book is thicker than other compilation guides in the RPG series, it is really best used as a quick reference guide to the darker forces and NPCs that a GM may use for a storyline campaign or single session. Many, if not most or all, of the NPCs, skills, and statistics listed in Dark Conversions are also listed in previous books for the Rifts and other Palladium Game systems.
• Must have for Rifts.
