- As Alex tries to get over his doubts about his feelings with Gabby and the addition of a new roomate Nyx, things take a turn when her little sisters show up out of the void (and promptly destroy his house and some poor person trying to get revenge on Alex). But that is fine as Gabby takes them for a day of shopping and relaxation. However there is someone in the shadows planning to take Gabby from Alex, and his plan is to use the very girls that like Alex as well. Can Alex save everyone from a suitor whose only ideaology is might making right, and do it without tapping into his darker half?
A twist on the sister plot, same abilites, same attitudes, but a different perspective on the suitor front. The story still has enjoyable moments and of course the characters meld into the harem group as easily as it does in a certain anime. I will have to see how the next one goes as Alex fights his two sides and see who comes up next to challenge him - Alex is getting some powers! Seeing him use them was super cool. Also, I like how his reason for not using his other power is actually valid, so much of the time that feels wimpy.
I also don't typically like the whole "I can be in a relationship with someone because [insert stupid reason]", but in this case Gabby's innocence actually sells it. I still think he's a dunderhead you chastises himself excessively for being a healthy male, but at least he's justified in not pursuing that relationship when Gabby doesn't really know what that means. Someone really needs to give her the talk.

Thanks a lot! - Really wished to see more of Michelle and Ariel in the story but hopefully future books will include them more. Other than that, I really liked how the story progresses.
I wish that the two powers and the personalities related to them where developed more. There are still more questions about what they are and why Alex's powers are sealed. I thought that Michelle was going to look into it in this book but there wasn't time in the plot for it.
Overall, the story and pacing are good with very little issues besides lack of character development in a select few. I really enjoy reading these books but I do wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next book to come out. Can't wait for the next one! - The mc and the characters are back with two more runaway princesses that are as destructive as their older sister. Now the mc must jungle attacks from suitors, plants, animals, and an evil king. Can't wait for the next book.
- Great addition to the series. Fun, well paced, definitely look into this series if you're a fan of anime, manga or light novels. Looking forward to book 6.

- Plot doesn't get boring, romance development continues as Alex tries to accept his own conflicting feeling and move on, while characters becoming more and deeper developed. I hope that Alex will end up with full harem of lovely wives D
- As this volume makes clear, the series has undergone a subtle but significant change. In the first three books A Most Unlikely Hero, Vol. 1,A Most Unlikely Hero, Vol. 2, and A Most Unlikely Hero, Vol. 3, Alex was dealing only with SCREENED marriage suitors for Gabrielle. However, by taking possession of (and responsibility for) the Princess, Alex has apparently also opened himself up for dealing with UNscreened marriage suitors and considering that all but one of the screened marriage suitors turned out to be complete douchebags, it isn’t that much of a surprise when unscreened suitors turn out to be worse,...
MUCH worse.
King MacArt had hired Nyx to kill Alex in the previous book A Most Unlikely Hero, Vol. 4 by lying to her about his character, has injected Parasytes into several of Alex’s friends in order to control them, and intends to break Princess Gabrielle right in front of him, which is likely to enrage King Lucifer enough to destroy Earth and the solar system when he finds out,...
so, no pressure. King MacArt is gloating because he’s had a lot of time to prepare; Gabrielle is his prisoner, Alex is in prison on Mars, several of his friends are under MacArt’s control for various purposes, but he’s missed a few things. Both Alex and Gabrielle have figured out how to get started, several of Alex’s friends have been missed and are on the march, Commander Azazel has been alerted, and Nyx is very, Very, VERY upset with her former employer. It is going to be an interesting reunion….
